Conclusion

Looking back at these controversial conspiracies, the questions proposed were if the Nazis had any impact on the United States Government after WWII and if U.S. intelligence agencies erased and or covered up incriminating evidence affiliated with Operation Paperclip Scientist? The answers to these questions are found through historical evidence and context. It is clear to see that the likelihood of the Nazis impacting the U.S. Government is nearly impossible for a few reasons. First, very few if any of these scientists were radical Nazis, and the majority of them were only grouped in with Nazis to keep their jobs and their lives. Secondly, these scientists were paid employees of the U.S. government, not senators or advisers, giving them little if any impact on U.S. politics. As for the second question, there is much more hard evidence that the United States’s Intelligence Agencies tried to whitewash the past of the scientists they were bringing into the country. With these important questions solved, a light has been shone on the dark secrets of this 80-year-old operation. It is now clear to see that while the idealistic view of the Nazis may not have affected the United States, the minds brought to America from Nazi Germany certainly did.
